The kids update
Talan: Still to this day loves Maddie, wants to hold her all the time. His cough is back which sometimes wakes him up at night that or he comes in my room and wakes me up to tell me he has boogers in his nose. Nothing like wiping snot at 3am. I am trying to teach him how to get dressed, but he still refuses to learn and says he can't do it. Now I know how it feels when I use to tell my parents I can't.
Noah: OMG, wild child. He is talking up a storm, saying three word sentences. Likes to hit, but it you tell him no hitting he starts hitting himself since he can't hit me or Talan. Now knows how to climb out of his pack and play, however still has figured out the crib yet, THANK GOD!!! Is starting to sing songs and repeats every single word I say. The other day I was in the other room and he came to me and told me, Maddie crying. He also starts pushing Talan and says stop pushing.
Maddie: Of course is a mess, is now on continous feeds. Has starting coughing again, which worries me. I am terrifed that the surgery won't fix it and she will have scars and an G-tube for something that doesn't work. I am hoping to be able to attempt to feed her by mouth before we make the decision for the surgery. We have a appointment on Monday so we will see where we are at. She has definetly gained weight. Developmentally she is putting everything in her mouth, she rolls back to front and front to back, scoots backwards so hopefully soon will be crawling, sits with support and is starting to sit for a little while by herself.
Mike: Has made me sign up for the Rock Boat again.....GREAT!!! I was hoping this would be the last year but no he wants to go again....go figure. Has been working really hard and trying to be supportive of my craziness about Maddie without trying to be "to doctor sounding".
Me: UMMMM, tired as all hell. Between three kids and giving Maddie her meds 4 times a day, and all the running around I have lost 2 more pounds and I haven't exercise and I haven't been eating the best nutrious wise so I guess stress is the new diet :-) However today I did eat two slices and of cake and it was awsome.

The Rock Boat Niner
Well, another year on the Rock Boat and it was awsome!!! We saw so many great bands. Some of the pictures are of Sister Hazel, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, Emerson Hart from the band Tonic, Aslyn, Tyrone Wells, Scott Ledger from Wideawake and Zac Brown Band. We went with our friends Steve and Bridgette and Nick and Gloribel. It was fun but we spent a lot of nights going to bed around 3am and waking up around 830am so we are exhausted. We went to the Bahamas and I actually got very drunk and ended up puking (which was not fun, and I will NEVER do that again). Enjoy the pictures!!!!

Griffen Update
Well, here are some recent pictures of the kids. Some of Maddie before the tube and after the tube. She is still too cute. Talan is a great big brother he still thinks Maddie is beautiful and tells her that everyday and he also tries to give her the longest kisses I have ever seen. Talan is also asking why to everything and even asked me how Maddie and him came out of my belly, he took a guess and said Bellybutton and I said Right On Dude!!! Noah OMG is such a big boy is vocab has expanded so much and he also tries to kiss and hug Maddie multiple times a day. Maddie is doing much better, she is coughing less and less each day, which shows that her cough was due to reflux. However, coming out of this very spoiled the girl won't let me put her down so it makes for a very hard day for me. She has been taking about 6oz by mouth everyday which is good and getting about 24oz through the tube for 18 hours a day. My breastmilk of course has taken a dive, I am going to have to give it up soon I only get out about 10oz a day that is it, but I am going to keep going until there is nothing left. As for Mike and I, of course the weight bet is off, I have gained about 2 pounds back because of my little hospital vacation, but after our cruise I will get back on it, I want to lose about 5-8 more pounds. Yes, it is finally here, Mike and I are leaving for our Rock Boat Cruise on Saturday for a much needed break. I will post pictures when we get back. Talan and NOah are staying with my parents and Miss Maddie are staying with Mike's parents. We hope they enjoy the time with them, because we will enjoying ourselves!!!

Madeline GI issue
Well, for all who know about Maddie today was her upper GI. They found reflux even though she is on two different kind of reflux medications. However, because she isn't a "spitter' it is known as silent reflux, so no structual issues THANK GOD!!! Mike got me in to see a GI doctor also, so he wants to do a Endoscopy and a PH probe, along with the sweat test for CF. His concern mainly because she only takes 16 ounces a day on a good day and it is like force feeding her to get her to take that much, that she has developed behavioral issues too feeding to deal with the reflux since the medications aren't helping. So we are probably going to start new medications and add fortifier to her milk to increase the calories in it. He says if she keeps on going this way, she already has not gained weight and has crossed wt percentages but it will eventually start effecting her length and her head circumfrence too. So what do we do? Ummmmm, we are being admitted tomorrow to All Children's Hopsital tomorrow for all these tests and of course we have to stay overnight and possibly more days. They might be putting a NG tube down her to get her fed to deal with the reflux so we can deal with the "behavioral issues" about feeding. When I know more I will inform everyone.
