37 Week Dr. Appt

I went to the OB today and didn't even get to see him. He was on call so he was doing deliveries and in a C-section so needless to say I sat their for 2 hours and saw a midwife who told me the results of my ultrasound in which I already knew them. MADELINE IS NOW HEAD DOWN!! So no C-section unless something else happens. She weights 6lbs 8oz, has big cheeks and hair. They wouldn't check me to see if I was dilated or not, my OB office doesn't do this because it only tells you the here and now and doesn't mean anything....so they say. I again havn't gained any wait in 2 months so I have only gained 21 pounds so hopefuly no more weight gain. As for when Maddie will come, it is just a waiting game again, but I'm getting tired so we will see what happens...could be CASTOR OIL here I come!!!!!

Aquarium July 26th

We took the kids to the aquarium today, with our friend Chrissy and her two kids Zack and Madison. My parents also met us their which Talan and Noah loved. All the kids were good, except when I wouldn't give Talan a snack right away he threw himself down and started kicking off his shoes in the middle of the aquarium, but he finally settled down thanks to Mike and Pooh (my dad). The kids played in the water part of the Aquarium after and then we went to Hooters for lunch, which I believe everyone ate most of thier food (we were starved). Needless to say all the kids fell asleep on the way home, but Noah woke up early because he had a BIG POOP in his pants so we had to pull over on 19 and change him. Overall it was a good day.

Mom's Group "The Letter P"

We had a meeting today with the Alachua County Mom's group. Today the kids worked on the letter P. Their were puppets to play with, painting, art work with pasta, puzzles, pouring things, princess and princes dress-up and they even made little veggie pizza's. Talan however woke up this morning in a grumpy mood with a low grade fever so needless to say he was not a ray of sunshine at the meeting. He didn't even won't to walk in the door so you know that started it off SUPER GREAT!!! After about an hour of whinning on and off he finally started crying that he wanted to go home. Mike was home from lunch and could also tell he was not himself, I just hope he is not starting to get sick. When he got hom he laid down and watched TV to rest.

Pregnant together again!!

My best friends Sandra and Amy are also pregnant. They were at Noah's birthday party so we decided to take some pictures of us. Last time we were all pregnant together was in the spring of 2006, Sandra was almost due with Andrew, Amy was pregnant with Addison and I was pregnant with Kaden (which was before I knew about his fatal diagnosis). Needless to say here we are again. However, I am almost due with Madeline, Sandra is due in October with Ava and Amy is due in March with TBA (not sure boy or girl yet)!! Enjoy!!

Noah's 1st Year Party July 19, 2008

Noah turned 1 years old on July 2 2007, however we were in Michigan so we needed to throw another party for our friends and family in Florida. We had a pool party and all the kids had a blast. We ended up having about 30 people including kids. The theme was Backyardigans and we had a cute Pablo Pinata, however none of the kids were really interested, they just wanted to swim. Noah ate his entire round cake and another piece from his Backyardigans cake. He ended up looking really sick afterwards. After his bath he did puke up a little icing. In all it ended up being a great party. He got lots of great gifts and I must say I believe he got a whole wardrobe of 18 month clothes which he will love that he won't have to wear Talan's old clothes. Everyone left around 430pm or so, however we did have a few friends here until 11pm so can only imagine how the atmosphere was. I will to give a big Thank You to my sister and her family and my parents for being such a great help before, during and after the party. I love you guys!!!

Update on Madeline 35 weeks

Went to the OB today. I have not gained a pound in a month....yeah!! I have only gained 1 pound in 2 months, I sure hope I keep on that role. So far 21 pounds, however I gained 21 pounds with Talan and 24 pounds with Noah and from each pregnancy I have 6-8 extra pounds, so yes I will still be big after Madeline comes, so probably a total of about 25-30 pounds will have to be lost to get back down to a decent size. I am not looking forward to that one.

I am going back to the doctors in 2 weeks and they are going to do an ultrasound. The doctor feels that she may not be head down he felt around and couldn't feel her head in the pelvis. I couldn't tell wear he heard the heartbeat, but I think it was at the belly button or a little above it. We will see come 2 weeks. He told me to take it easy though because if I go into labor the only down size is they don't know where she is.

If she is breech I will have to have a C-section, but the plus side is that it would at least be planned and I wouldn't have to worry about going into labor and bringing Talan and Noah to the hospital with me and waiting 4 hours or so for family to get there to care for them and worrying that Mike could miss the delivery or won't be able to be with me because he would have to care for the kids until help got there.

A mental note, my mother got her cards read about 2 months ago and the lady told her that I would be a few weeks early and not to go more that 8 hours into labor and not to fight the doctors if they want to do a C-section.....so we will have to see how it all comes out!!!!

More Activites in Michigan

As you can tell we did lots of things in Michigan. Other activites include Mike playing paint ball with his family, horse back riding, canoe trip down a river, trailer rides with a four wheeler pulling them. Talan actually fell asleep horse back riding, how you can fall asleep on a horse I don't know but he did. Both Noah and Talan enjoyed the 90 minute canoe trip, Talan thought he was a big helper by trying to paddle.

Mud Fight in Michigan

Yes, my incredible Husband decided to turn the beach area at the cottage into a mud pit. Needless to say it was no fun cleaning the kids up afterwards, but they sure had a good time.

Shaving Cream Fight in Michigan

All the kids had a shaving cream fight on a hot sunny day. Talan of course was too little to squeeze from the can so his Nana would squezze some on his hands and he would chase down the kids and get them. Noah however only got to participate when is father decided to drench him in shaving cream, however he truly enjoyed it.

Dune Ride at Silver Lake Michigan

We did the Dune rides this year again at Silver Lake in Michigan, however this was Talan's and Noah's first time. Talan truly enjoyed it, however Noah wasn't too sure about the wind in his face. Our family filled up a whole Dune Car, their was quite a few of us.

Fishing and Boating in Michigan

We did a lot of fishing at the cottage off the dock. Talan caught quite a few fish. At one time in the canoe he caught a huge bass. We also spent a lot of time on the pontoon boat riding around the lake.

Noah's 1 year old Party

We had a little birthday party for Noah on the 4th of July for Mike's family in Michigan. He loved the cake he ate 3 pieces...he takes after his mommy with sweets.

4th of July in Michigan

We kicked off 4th of July with the fun fest in Hesperia Michigan. The kids played games and participated in a tractor pull. Talan's Aunt Katelyn bobbed for apples so Talan could eat one, which is pictured. Noah just hung out in the grass most of the time playing with sticks. Our family bought about 1100 dollars worth of fireworks and the night was awsome. Both the kids were asleep so I got to enjoy watching a bunch of grown men having a blast lighting them.

Petting Zoo Michigan July 3

We went to a Farmers Market in Michigan and all the kids got to pet animals. Talan wasn't too into the animals he just wanted to ride on the tractor. Noah however, loved the lambs and especially loved the little billie goats. To bad we can't have farm animals where we live because I am sure he would love to have one of those.
