Happy Birthday - Talan

Talan is "SO BIG" today turning the ripe old age of 3! Nothing like presents, cake, and ice cream. Talan loved his presents!! Power Wheels are always a hit with three yr olds. I had to chase him down the street... man that thing is fast 5 mph, ha... more like mach 5!

Leslie's first day on the road with 3 kids in car seats 3 and under - well she made it home safely but she lost her sanity - no suprise to anyone.
Another day! - Mike

Ok a picture of "Maddie"

As previously reported... all is well! Eating great. Thank heavens I don't have to breast feed. That looks like it hurts! She is just a little princess. Daddy's little girl. - Mike

Just a Few Reason Why I Shouldn't Watch the KIDS!!

Yes, that is noah "Swimming" (drinking) in the dog bowl, falling in the pool, stuffing the dog leash in his mouth, and being a couch potato all within the span of less than one hour. He cracks me up. This is "what not to do" with a 13 month old. I'm still laughing. Watch the videos yes the little devil can crawl up (and subsequently fall off) the couch! Great fun chasing this one around... Another day! - Mike
PS Maddie is doing great. Sleeping, eating, pooping, peeing, and screaming... you know 1 wk old baby stuff.

Rain, Rain, and More Rain

Just when we thought the rain was over... Another whole day of being inside with three kids... Noah found a way to sneak out for a little puddle splashing. Thought everyone would enjoy. --Mike

Another day!

Oh lord what did I get myself into? I now know I was not thinking straight when we decided to have three kids under three in ONE house. Well we made it through the "HURRICANE" ya not really a hurricane more like a little rain. The kids are getting back to their routine, basically non-stop screaming and fighting! Brings me back to the first point (birth control: It should be in the water supply)! Life is wonderful! Everyone is SO happy and excited... Maddie is a doll, Noah is on the move, and Talan... well he is 3 what more needs to be said... --Mike

August 20, 2008

Well today was a fun filled day of rest for me. I took two 30 minute naps, took care of the kids, took Madddie to her daddy's work so she could get her post hospital check up and gave her a little sponge bath. Noah and Talan played all day together. Talan said the cutest thing to me while we were taking pictures of Maddie, he asked me "Where is Maddie's Mommy?" I told him that I was her mommy and he said, "O, where is his other mommy?" I said she doesn't have another mommy I am your mommy, Noah's mommy and Maddie's mommy and he said I love her. He always asks where Noah is and now today he asks where Maddie is. He even asked to get out of his bed and give Maddie a good night kiss. I am feeling okay, I cramp up a lot because Madeline is breastfeeding so well, my stomach and back hurt a lot, but I think that is because all of my organs were pushed around and now they are starting to get back in place. Well here are a few pics of the day, enjoy!!

Don't Forget Me -- I'm Still SO CUTE!

Noah has wondered what in the world this new little doll "Maddie" is doing here and how come he isn't the BABY anymore. No worries little buddy -- We all think you are so BIG...and SO CUTE! - Mike

More pics for everyone!

We are truly blessed! Enjoy... we certainly are. - Mike

So where did the "Dark Hair Come From?"

Ok already many are wondering... Who is the father...hahahaha? I too was concerned until my mother informed me of my baby picture at the hospital... I am on the left and Maddie is on the right, what do you think? I know it is scary how much she looks like me - Mike

Madeline is Here

Madeline was born on August 18, 2008 at 131pm. She weighed 7 pounds 3 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. I started contracting around 1am on Monday morning and called to get my induction time at 5am and was told that they couldn't get me in, so I said well I'm in labor so I am coming in. Sure enough I was 4cm and 50% effaced by 830am with bloody show. They started me on 3cc/hr of Pitocin around 10am, by 1pm I was 7cm so the doctor broke my bag and my 131pm, Madeline was here. It took only 3 pushes to get her out. She looks quite different from Noah and Talan she had dark hair, however she still has Noah's little face. She is a doll and is feeding wonderful.

39 week OB Visit

Well, guys the plan is for induction on Monday th 18th, I am suppose to be the first one, but we will see. I guess last Saturday was a staff issue that is why I couldn't get induced. My BP was 123/96, which concerns me still and I have been having headaches but once again they only like to induce me when my doctor is there (basically I think so he can get the money from the delivery). The doctor said I am 2-ish cm dilated, so I am guessing a little over 2cm so if I can get myself into some contractions maybe I can have this baby by the weekend. He did stretch my membranes so we will see how it goes.

The things kids have done

NO INDUCTION!!

Well Saturday, came and went and my induction got cancelled, because there were no beds. I called today like they told me too, and they do not induce you again until your doctor is on call and that is not until August 18th. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday, so we will see. The doctor's office is just hoping I go on my own. I am very sad, lets just say I have cried about 10 times today, because I am so overtired and miserable.

38 Week OB Visit

Well, the good news is that I am getting induced on Saturday and it wasn't even my idea. The doctor suggested it since he is on call and my blood pressure was 139/95. I had awful pains yesterday and I thought I would be dilated however I was only 1cm and about 20% effaced. He would have put me in the hospital tonight if I was more dilated, but either way he said I would have the baby on Saturday or Early Sunday.

Noah Walking

So Noah is finally walking. Last week he started taking 3 or 4 steps at a time. All of a sudden since Tuesday he has been doing more and more every day. Yesterday he actually walked half the length of our house. Here is video clip of a few steps, not a lot like he usually does now, but it seems when you want your child to perform for the camera they seem to never do.
