X-mas 2008

Christmas Eve: Spent at my parents and Mike's sister and we got to open gifts from my sister and her husband. My sister loved the burp cloths she got from me especially the one that said If you think I am cute you should see my Aunt Leslie.

Christmas Day: Spent at Mike's sister's house, which my husband got me a lot of wonderful presents, however he got me tons of candy which isn't fair since we are in a diet competion (that little cheater) and he enjoyed his remote control airplane and other gifts.

Saturday: Went to my cousins Nicole's house for a family party which was fun we got to ride around on a fourwheeler and I did the pogo stick for a long time.

Sunday: Mike went to the Bucs game and I did a whole day of shopping for me which was great!!!

Talan: Had an enjoyable Christmas the weekend before, Santa came Friday night and he had fun putting out corn for the Reindeer and was very upset that mommy was eating all of Santa's cookies. He got plenty of toys and he even got Christmas with his daddy on Christmas Day, not many kids get to have Santa come twice.

Noah: Had no interest in opening up presents, I mean the boy did not care. He just wanted what everyone else had, not his toys, however he plays with his toys non-stop now. Christmas Day he was on the playground at his Aunt Melissa's house and thought the rock wall was a slide and basically just front dived off of the playset (yeah scared me to death) which was about a 9/10 foot drop. The funny thing is the boy has no idea how to go down the slide on his butt he always goes down on his belly so that is what he was doing, but down a rock roll not a slide. Needless to say he did not get hurt just cried.

Maddie: Looked cute as ever in her Christmas Dress and she liked her presents especially her Leapfrog one. Maddie is going to a Pulmonary specialist because she isn't feeding well with poor weight gain and is coughing non stop, which is probably due to BAD REFLUX which is causing ASTHMA, however we need to be sure there isn't any structure issue, her chest X-ray was questionable for the lungs and the abdomen showed large gas bubble so concerned about a tracheal/esphogeal fistula (which is basically air getting into the stomach and feeds getting in the lungs hence causing cough when she eats)

Noah's Woe's and Foe's

Well, Well, What can I say about my Noah Butt, but HOLY COW!!! That boy is a machine. He is constantly getting into things (not the way Talan did at his age). He is adventure seeking and always trying new tricks. Well I have tried to stop him numerous times from sliding down the back of the couch, well yesterday I was breastfeeding Maddie laying down and Noah climbed up on the couch with me. Needless to say he was standing up and leaning by the edge of the back of the couch and leaned a little to far and face planted onto the ground. Well he has a rug burn bruise on the forehead and his nose is jacked up, I thought it was broke because it started bleeding instantly, but Mike checked it and it was okay. Well here is some pictures of the kids and notice Noah's nose. Also the picture of me is 1 of many, Talan was playing with my camera and wanted to shoot pictures of me and was telling me to pose.

Kids Playdate

Talan, Noah and Maddie had a playdate with some friends in Gainesville. They had a good time. Needless to say they only got about a 20 minute nap the whole day so not a very good night, can you say overtired. Here are some great pictures of the kids. Also here is a video of Noah a few days ago. He has discovered putting buckets on his head for fun (at least he is not banging his head up against walls when he does it, then I would be concerned).

Out to eat at Chili's

Well, I took all the kids out to eat at Chili's to meet my best friend Sandra so the kids and us could exchange gifts. Needless to say I had to call Sandra on the way home because we didn't even get to talk. Talan went to the bathroom 3 times. Sandra's son went to the bathroom 2 times, so it was a revolving door. Sandra got to hold Maddie for a little bit, but Ava was sleeping so I didn't get to hold her :-( But at least I got to see her!!! I must say going out to eat wasn't bad, you just need another person there so you can take kids to the bathroom without bringing everyone. Overall, the meal was quite pleasent with all the kids. Our Christmas Card

Here is our Christmas Card. Yes we could not get all the kids together, trust me we tried. It was hard enough getting Talan and Noah together. The only one that was somewhat cooperative was Talan and that was because he would get Candy after. Noah cooperated some, by sitting there but he would not smile for anything ( I think he was wondering what the heck was going on). Maddie of course was easy to get pictures of, but she kept wanting to put her hands in her mouth so..........yea hard. Well enjoy!!

Maddie Thanksgiving Weekend

My little girl is growing so big. She does go through periods of wanting to eat and not wanting to eat, which drives me crazy because my milk supply goes up and down and it is hard to keep up some days. She discovered the jumparoo which she loves, which her father needs to get ours down from the attic. She got to dress up really cute on Santa's lap, ummmmm what else can I say. She still is a baby and still wakes up a lot at night to eat but that is okay because honestly that is when I have more time to feed her :-)

Thanksgiving Weekend for Noah

Well, Well, Well, what I can say about Noah then HOLY COW!!! That boy acts like he is 3 years old. I am amazed at what he can do and how much he is starting to talk. He loves to throw tantrums and knows how to give a sad look if you make him upset which tears at everyone's heart. He had a good time this weekend. I think he is a little mini Mike. He too was scared of santa, but after awhile he went back and sat on his lap and pulled at his beard.

Thanksgiving Weekend for Talan

Talan spent Wednesday and most of the day Thursday with us. He had a lot of fun at Nana's and Grandpa's in Parrish and at Nana's and Pooh's in South Tampa. We went Wedneday to go see Santa and Talan was shy he wouldn't tell Santa what he wanted and he wouldn't sit on his lap unless I sat there too.

The Kids

Well lets see, some things in a nutshell...

The kids worked on arts and crafts projects for Thanksgiving. The picture I provided is a turkey we made from leaves and bark. Noah was obsessed with the glitter and glue and was eating is all the time. Noah is also obsessed with the baby exersaucer he sits in it all time time and watches TV. Maddie is as cute as can be with her little hair, she is starting to push up a lot on her arms, but honestly I only put her on her tummy 1 to 2 times a day, because yes I am a busy girl between taking care of kids and being a house wife. We did put up our X-mas tree last night and it looks great, I basically just collected ornaments all day long that Noah took off the tree and I put them back at the end of the day. Well we are going to TPA, this weekend so I will be sure to post some pictures.

Just a note that Maddie has been driving me crazy, she has been wanting to eat every 2 hours all day and all night and has been biting me of course becasue she has sucked me dry!!!!! Talan and Noah fight constantly but is is a brotherly love fight :-)

Disney Weekend

Vacation in a nutshell: We ate out everyday, because Chiefland has no resturants so we took adavantage of it.

Thursday: Checked into Orange Lake resorts in Orlando and took the kids swimming in 1 of their like 12 pools and we also floated down the lazy river. We had outback for dinner, it was great!!!

Friday: Went to Disney with the kids and my dad. Everyone had a blast, Noah was obsessed with seeing Mickey and Talan wanted to see the them also but he was very interested in Cindrella's castle. Maddie still wasn't feeling well, she spit up quite a lot so of course she had a outfit change mid day. Overall we went to the park from 9am-630pm and the kids did great. They enjoyed all the rides, we tricked Talan into thinking the Haunted Mansion was a Scooby Doo ride and he got a little freaked out with the 3-D show of Mickey but it was all cool. Noah was a little scared at first of the rides but after being on 2 of them he got the hang of it. It's a small world was his favorite. We had Red Lobster for Dinner!!

Saturday: We had to go to the marketing tour in the morning and my dad watched the 2 boys and we took Maddie. After about 2 hours of it and them insulting Mike (because we didn't want to by a timeshare, because we just don't go on vacation that much they basically called him an awful husband and father) and me pulling out my boob to feed Maddie exposing myself because I was tired of them hasseling us so I wanted to make everyone uncomfortable we came back to the room and went swimming all day. Talan went home with my dad because he wanted to stay the night. My bestfriend Amy came up with her daughter Addison and had Carrabba's with us. After Cujo (AKA Addison) beat up Noah and bit him, Noah was too overly tired so he got put to bed. We loved having Addison and Amy over, it was great seeing them and Addison was too cute pretending to be a baby and beating up Noah.

Sunday: We went to my parents and then went to the bucs game and we finally got home around 9pm.

Bike Ride

Mike got me a bike for part of my Christmas present and we bought two trailers so we could exercise with the kids. Yesterday we went for about a 4 mile bike ride down too the boat ramp near Manatee Springs, which is right near our house. Here are some shots that we took. Maddie is Sick, Noah is Better

Well everyone Noah is much better, back to his old self. Now Maddie is vomiting and not wanting to eat. I think we got our neighbor sick because today she was vomiting so I took her little boy today for a little while so she could rest. Here are some pictures of the kids well and not so well. UMMM the video was taken on Tuesday when Noah didn't feel well.

Update on kids

Talan: Is at James's house this week, however he had a good Halloween, he didn't get to go trick or treating because no houses give candy around here but we did go to a little kid Halloween party at our neighbors house. He had a little GI bug, but it has passed and he is doing better. He had fun painting pumpkins on Halloween. His new thing is now if he doesn't get his way he tells you that he doesn't love you or he goes in his room closes the door and locks it (you would think he was a teenager).

Noah: Got the GI Bug on Sunday and is starting to feel better, however still doesn't have much of an appetite. Noah climbs on everything (like the kitchen table) he climbed on the kitchen chair and fell and started crying (however he didn't hit anything) so we were wondering why he was crying and come to find out he much have stretched his upper lip, because he tore his frenulum (the skin connecting the upper gum and upper lip) and his mouth was filled with blood. His gums are a little bit bruised but he is doing better. He also frequently tries to surf in Maddie's bouncy seat and actually has hit his head a few times on the corner of teh table. He was so cute on Halloween he kept saying Trick or Treat, but no body had candy it was really sad.

Maddie: Is as sweet as can be, she loves her mommy that's for sure. I had issues getting her to take a bottle but I found one that works like the breast so she finally taking the breast milk in a bottle if she has too. It was very difficult because I couldn't go anywhere without here because she was refusing the bottle and it left poor Mike out of the mix. She is sleeping from about 8pm-330am, which is awsome and usually eats at 330am and then 630am so it isn't bad.
