Noah and his dirt cake!!

Well, we all know that Noah likes to eat. He ate dirt cake and I took a picture of his face and some video of him. Lets just say he was very upset when it was all gone and I took away the cups.

Well, we took Maddie to church for the first time so we got a lot of cute pics of her in her dress.

Noah had fun splashing around in the pool today after church, here are some cute pictures of him, he does like to say cheese sometimes but most of the time you have to catch him off guard. But man I tell you, Noah and Maddie both look like Michael Jr.

Got to Love Those Griffen Cheeks

Well, I was having fun taking some pictures of Maddie today. Granted, she is not the most photogenic baby like Noah was, because she cries when you put her down so it is hard to get good pictures awake. However, I love those big cheeks she has, she reminds me so much of her daddy and when I see her I feel like Mike is looking right back at me. We Love You Daddy!!

The Beach

Well, this weekend we spent the weekend at the beach with my family. We celebrated Austin's (my nephew) birthday and the kids got to swim in the ocean. All 3 of my children have colds and we all shared a room so needless to say it was a sleepless weekend. However, here are some really great shots. Please disregard my body, it is awful right now, however I had a baby 5 weeks ago so believe me as soon as I can find some time I will be bringing "Sexy Back."

The Snack Stealer

Noah has found the bin of snacks and everyday he gets a snack and shakes it and says, "This, This." Usually he can have one, but sometimes he can't and when I take it away he sceams and throws himself on the ground. Well Thursday night, Mike found Noah near the snack bin, but I forgot to put Talan's candy he gets for going potty away and this is what we found.

Talan's first Dentist Appointment

Well, Talan and Noah had a dentist appointment today. Noah of course just had his teeth looked at and flouride put on them and he was great. TALAN WAS WONDERFUL!!!! Our dentist (Matt) if our neighbor's twin brother so I told Talan that he was Aidan's uncle so it helped. Also Matt explained everything to Talan and let him play with all the intstruments and try them out by himself in his mouth so he could see that it wasn't scary. I also for the past month have been having Talan lay down while I brushed his teeth so he could pretend he was at the dentist, which helped also. They said Talan was one of the best 3 year old that they have ever had. He didn't cry once, the only thing he wouldn't let them do was take the x-rays of the side of the mouth (which hurts on me too), however he allowed them to take the front mouth x-rays. Weekend of September 12th

Well, we had a busy weekend. We went down to Melissa's house and stayed the night. I went to Sandra's baby shower on Saturday and Noah went to a birthday party and Sunday, Mike and I went to the bucs game. We got Talan back on Sunday night which was nice, however we didn't get home until 1115pm, but at least we had Monday to rest up. Well notice the mark on Noah's head? Friday at 430pm, I was cleaning Maddie's puke off of me when all of a sudden I heard screaming. Noah was playing on the inflatable chair and banged his head into the corner of the speaker. It definetly needed stiches, however I refused to hold down my own child while Mike stiched him up at home. However, it came together nicely and hopefully won't scar. I guess on a positive note, his father had a similar scar above the same eyebrow (like father like son!!). Also notice the pictures of Talan and Maddie, Talan asked to hold Maddie like he does everyday, but in one picture he doens't seem so thrilled and in the other picture Maddie doesn't seem so thrilled. It seems you can never get them both to cooperate at the same time. However, when Talan is asked if he wants another brother or sister he says he wants another sister because she is beautiful (too cute and probably because Noah and him fight over toys all the time so he figure he wont' have to share with a girl!!).

Talan's 3rd Birthday Party!!

Well, Talan had a birthday party his third party this month (he sure has more parties than anyone I know). We only invited family being we just had a baby 2 weeks ago and Noah had a party in late July, but our family is huge so it ends up being 20 people so needless to say it was a fun time for all the cousins. His party was a pirates theme. I got creative and had all the kids make pirate flags, which they had a fun time doing that. Of course I think they liked swimming the best. Talan was overwhelmed by all the gifts, especially since all the other kids were excited about them. Here are a few pictures enjoy!!!

A funny thing Talan said

Talan is very involved in Maddie's care. If she cries he always helps me out by trying to soothe her in his own way. He has been starting to ask where Maddie came out of and asking about how she gets milk from my boobs. Well today Talan said the funniest thing. It went something like this.

Mommy: (action) Is breastfeeding Maddie
Talan: (says) Is Madeline drinking milk from you boobies?
Mommy: (says) Yes she is eating
Talan: (says) Is she eating doughnuts?
Mommy: (says) What! Is she eating doughnuts?
Talan: (says) Get it Mommy, Doughnuts and Milk (and he starts cracking up)
Mommy: (says) You are so funny (Talan keeps repeating, Get It doughnuts and milk, because he told a funny joke and he thinks he is hillarious)
