Out of Town

Hello All,
The Griffen Family will be out of town Friday night June 27 until the weekend of July 12th. We will be in Hesperia Michigan at Mike's family cottage. Yes, I will be traveling 32 weeks pregnant with 2 kids and 2 dogs, however I trust everything will be okay. We will have lots of pictures to post when we get back of our fun time there.

Talan and Noah Play 06/24/08

Today the boys were having a good time playing together. We were also watching Aiden, like we usually do on Tuesdays. Talan and Noah were having screaming matches and Noah copied everything Talan did. As you can tell in the picture, Noah almost is as big as Talan is at least by weight. Pretty soon, probably in the next 3 months they will be in the same size shorts and pants. Talan, however is starting to get taller, even his 2T shirts are starting to get a little small on him, so needless to say he is going to look really skinny in 3T shirts.

Golf/Play 06/23/08

Today was the first day Talan has been back to the house in 2 weeks. We had a busy day of playing. We played pirates and the cranium treasure hunt game most of the day. Noah also enjoyed playing pirates, believe it or not he knows to bang the play swords together to pretend fight. Here are pictures of their pirate faces and Noah has his trusty compass in hand. After it stopped raining we went for a nice long walk with Noah in the wagon and Talan drove his Diego jeep, I think their was enough bug spray on us all to keep even the air away. After Talan practiced his fishing skills to get ready for Michigan and practiced golf. Here is a video of Talan's golf swing. he thinks he is Tiger Woods.

Box Fun 06/20/08

We had lots of boxes from some meat and fish we bought and Noah was having fun with them. Here are a few pictures and a video. After we ate dinner we went in the hot tub to relax before Noah went to sleep.

Noah's Tantrum Over Dibs 06/18/08

I bought Dibs Ice Cream today at the store, and Noah had some for the first time today after his lunch, which he loved (he has a sweet tooth like his mommy). After dinner we decided to get the Dibs out for Mike and I to have a few, here are two video's of Noah's reaction when we were eating Dibs and he wasn't.

Playing with Aiden 06/17/08

Every Tuesday I watch another little boy named Aiden. He is a month younger than Noah and he just learned to crawl, so he is trying to learn how to keep up with my speed crawler Noah. Today Aiden and Noah were getting in all sorts of trouble getting into things they shouldn't be such as trying to pull out nightlights, trying to fight over kitchen chairs who gets to use them to stand in which Noah knows how, but Aiden is still learning so he gets upset when Noah steals his chair, climbing all over Zuka...ect.

Fathers Day 06/15/08

Well, the only picture I got was of Talan and Mike. Talan had to go see his dad today so Mike and Talan had some quality time together playing my dad's only video game. Noah was sleeping for most of the day, because he was overtired from not sleeping the night before. After Talan left, my dad and Mike went to play 18 holes of golf and my mother and I shopped. I bought lots of good things for myself, Talan, Noah and Madeline and don't worry I was nice and bought Mike and outfit too and he bought himself some golf shoes so it was all good. We left that night to go home and Talan stayed with my parents since he had to go back to his father on Monday. Talan was very upset that he couldn't come home, it broke my heart. He told me that he was mad at me, which made me even more sad, but at least he is getting to the age he can use his words to express how he feels. Overall it was a wonderful day!!
